What to expect

Raised on our property from day one.

Handled, socialised and monitored closely long before they ever go home with you. They are born in the house, weighed constantly, picked up daily by adults and by children, and put on the floor with the grown dogs as soon as it's safe.

We take placement seriously. These are not mass-produced dogs. Each litter is intentional, and each puppy goes to a home we feel good about — which occasionally means telling somebody no.

What you are actually signing up for

The paw here is roughly one grown front foot — about 4 inches across — at actual size. Screens vary, so stand any bank card, driver's licence or insurance card upright against the outline and drag the slider until the two match. Then put your hand on the paw.

Before you ask

Questions we get every litter

When will the puppies be ready to go home?

Puppies go home at eight weeks, once they have had their first vaccinations, their microchip and a clean health check from our veterinarian. We will not release a puppy early, however keen the buyer is.

How do I reserve one?

Call or message us and tell us about your home. If we think it is a fit, a deposit holds your place in the pick order. Deposits are taken in the order they arrive, and we stop taking them once the litter is spoken for.

Can I pick my puppy?

Pick order follows deposit order. When the litter is old enough to tell apart properly — usually around five to six weeks — we walk each family through the puppies on a FaceTime call and help match temperament to household rather than just letting people choose on markings.

Can I come and see the puppies?

Before a deposit, we do this by FaceTime and phone rather than in person. Call us and we will put the puppies, Kilo and Athena in front of the camera and answer anything you want to ask. The dogs live in our family home, so visits are for families who have already placed a deposit.

Do you ship?

Most of our families drive in from around the Lowcountry, Charleston and Savannah and collect in person, which is what we prefer. Distance is not automatically a no, though — call us and we will work out the travel together.

What does a Boerboel actually need?

Space, structure and a person who is genuinely in charge. They ask more of an owner than most breeds do. We wrote an honest guide to what ownership looks like before you commit.
